Theme Characters has provided face paint and photography for various nursery settings and playgroups we also do birthday parties and weddings. All our face painters at Theme Characters are CRB checked at an enhanced level and hold full public liabiity insurance. Our face painters will not paint children if there is a visible rash or if the child has exzema.
How it works
You can ring or complete our online form with detais of your event or nursery we need to know how many children will be there.
if you are a setting 2 people will visit; the make-up artist and photographer, a space needs to be allocated for the set up of the photography we will provide various props and costumes. If you only want a face painter then just let us know
How long does it take?
For the photography our make up artist should take no longer than 8-10 minutes on a face. For only face paint; 5 minutes per face.
What ages do you paint from?
We start from 2 years and up however in some cases we do paint under 2 this will be at the parent/carers approval and a signed form will need to be completed as confirmation. We will not paint under 1's due to the sensitiviy of their skin.
I don't want the face paint can my child just dress up and take pictures instead?
Yes
How do I view my pictures?
A proof sheet will be given to your setting manager you will just need to tick which packages you would like and give this to your setting manager along with your Paymemt. A member of our team will then collect all payments and proof sheets and process your order, this usually takes a couple of weeks.
If you are booked in to visit us then you may be able to view pictures straightaway and select and pay there and then pictures can either be posted out to you or you may opt to collect them from our mini studio. We are in the process of setting up and online gallery where you will be able to select and pay for your images online.
We aim to give an efficient and accessible service and admin staff can be reached direct by telephone, Mon-Fri, 9-5pm.
